What it covers

In this course you will explore how politics and technologies are presented in popular film, television and other screen formats both locally and globally. You will consider the significance of popular cultural presentations of politics and technologies, and how a range of emerging technologies mediate and are shaping social, political and economic life. These concerns will be explored through the analysis of screen-based texts and the occasions of their viewing, circulation, and social outcomes.
