French Language and Society

What it covers

This course is one of two advanced courses taught entirely in French from a total of eight courses in French offered at RMIT University. The course will build on your existing knowledge of the French language and culture through the study of contemporary issues affecting the French language as covered in the Francophone media. You will analyse some of the social and historical aspects as well as the current context of the French language of in France, and other French speaking countries.
